The final prompt for Inktober 2023 was “FIRE,” so I went literal. I have sent this image into the flames to invoke creative inspiration for my community. To paraphrase the book Art & Fear, may we all come to the Truth—whether consciously or otherwise—that, “[b]y definition, whatever you have is exactly what you need to produce your best work.” Whether that Work be of Beauty, or Play, or Justice, or simply Curiosity, I wish that that Truth compels you now and henceforth towards the realization of your Greatest Potential and your Greatest Art.
